Feels good to write the report for the first time in a while! It was a good week, for sure. Check out these pics and look at the variety. Captain Joey got a unicorn of a African Pompano. Check out the colors on this thing. Beautiful. We had maui wowis, blackfin tuna studs, and kings showed up nicely, too.
I’ll let everybody in on the secret spot — are you ready for this…? It’s THE REEF! Yep, 8A. It’s been producing big time this week, even some scattered cobias in the mix. By the way, the rules are changing. In this case, for the better. Maybe our kids will see more than the last few years.
Bait you ask? Bunker! They are on the beach and in the bight. It’s been simple. Bait up, shoot the reef and catch a variety of species.
Looks like this week will have a swell on, but should be calm till the weekend as usual. Good luck and have fun out there!
