The weather has been a little unstable this past week with strong winds and afternoon showers making for some challenging fishing but thankfully the mornings have been great weather which makes for great fishing. Snook bite has been hot along with the trout and red fish bite, as well. Targeting the oyster beds and shallow mud flats in the North Indian River has been working well. The Mosquito Lagoon has been productive, as well, with trout and black drum active on the shallow flats. Live shrimp, finger mullet along with spoons and soft plastics have all been working well.
Looks like we have a little cooler weather coming in for this weekend, but it won’t last long. I believe after this weekend it’s going to get summer time hot very quickly.
