The bite continues to be good throughout the area. We have had a couple trying days with very unstable weather with winds and rain but it still did not stop us from catching. We have been boating several different species from snook, redfish and trout to flounder and mangrove snapper. The water conditions are still a bit high but has been steadily dropping everyday. The clarity is good considering the amount of freshwater that has been introduced in the past month. The fish have moved further up in the shallows and up on the shorelines looking for new food opportunities. The bait continues to be located throughout the flats of Mosquito Lagoon and backwaters. Live shrimp and finger mullet have been working well along with artificials as well.
The weather looks to be good for the up coming week which should only make the bite get better .
