Just when I thought the fronts were finished here in the Central Florida area, there seems to be another traveling across the south this week. It doesn’t look like the temps are going to drop drastically, but it will bring some gusty conditions for a couple of days. With this front being on the minor side the bite should continue to stay strong throughout the New Smyrna Beach and Mosquito Lagoon waters. The shallow flats have been full of life with bait pods and fish milling around in and out the pot holes. They have been receptive to both artificial and live bait making for a good variety of baits to use.
