The temperatures have not lightened up here in Central Florida with highs in the mid and high 90’s for the past couple of weeks. The nice thing is the bite has not lightened up as well. We have continued to boat several different species from redfish, snook, trout and black drum to mention a few. The bait has been plentiful which I also contribute to the good bite as well. The water clarity throughout Mosquito Lagoon and New Smyrna Beach waters has been great for sight fishing, making it easy to spot cruising fish on shorelines and grass flats.
It looks as though we could be getting some much needed rain this week which will continue to get these fish fired up.
