snook

Fall is definitely upon us with these much cooler mornings and speaking of cool next week looks like we could get a little cold blast. The fish are getting into their fall patterns and seem to be enjoying the cooler water temps here in the Central Florida area. We still have a little extra water throughout Mosquito Lagoon, but it seems to be getting back to normal levels.

Look for the bait cruising down the edge of the shorelines and on top of the bars. Redfish, trout, jacks and snook will all be in and around this bait. Plugs, shrimp and live finger mullet have been working well. The flounder have also started to move into the shallows from offshore, soft plastics or mud minnows pinned on a jig head always works well.
