I fished 2 days on 3 Forks this week. Our intention for us was to see how many bluegill and crappie along with bass with Beetle Spins we could catch. Ditch fishing is fun once you come upon a school of fish. We worked the main canal which is also the one that takes you to the Satori ponds. Pitching to the wooded edges and casting in the middle of the canal seemed to be what the fish wanted.

Friday, I got a surprise fish of a 7 pound tilapia on the Beetle Spin.
Spring is finally here and the weather patterns as well as stable water temperatures should really get the fish chewing!
