Went Saturday morning to Butler and started out fishing open water reeds and grass out in front of where Shaq used to live and got 5 before moving on to a protected area where I got 3 more. Biggest was 1lb 11ounces caught on a Yum Dinger in Cranberry color. Moved down the lake and found a better protected area to fish but didn’t get any in the boat. Moved across towards Shaq’s old house and got 1 from in front of a dock a couple of houses down. Moved through the canal leading to Lake Louise and started fishing the lily pads on the left side towards the docks. Missed one and got broke off in the pads. Out front of the first dock the fish started breaking the surface chasing bait, so I picked up a SPRO Haint 110 in bone color and started throwing it out in front of the dock, but no takers. Threw it up by the lily pads and caught the biggest of the day, 2lb pounces, pictured.
