All though the weather has been a little wild this past week with some wind and rain it has not effected the bite. The bite continues to be strong throughout the waters of New Smyrna Beach and Mosquito Lagoon. Look for the redfish, trout and black drum to be on the search for food over the next week as we start a warming trend. These windy conditions have stirred the bottom and creating a new food source for the fish to take advantage of. Shrimp, mullet and artificials have all been working well. Looks like we will have some stable weather for the next few days so look for the fishing to get even better.
