blacktip topwater

Harlan had a great time fishing for sharks on topwater as well as inshore for snook and trout!

We’ve had some nice weather and the fishing has been pretty good over the last week before the wind started blowing. Plenty of action on the beach from Mackerel, Bluefish and jacks on artificial. The blacktip shark migration is in full swing and they are feeding on the mackerel and bluefish on the beach.

The inlet bite has been good with plenty of jacks and a few snook and redfish mixed in on live bait. Inshore has been decent with the water warmed up. Snook and trout on soft plastics and a few redfish mixed in. The strong winds out of the north should bring the water levels up in the lagoon and push some bait around which will make fishing the mangroves pretty good over the next few weeks.
