It’s that time of year we’re starting to get some nice schools of black drum up on the flats. We are also seeing good schools of redfish in the grass flats as well. The redfish can be targeted using weedless paddle tails or a live shrimp. We’ve been having a blast catching the black drum on fly. The best fly patterns for these fish have been crab patterns or live shrimp. We have the mullet run going strong so the jacks and tarpon can be seen blitzing the mullett schools. It’s a heck of a sight to see!
