The black drum fishing this past week has been on fire with calm winds and big schools of fish. A jig head tipped with shrimp has been the easiest and most effective way to catch these fish. Sharks have been thick in the main river closer to the inlet too. With the cold weather ahead this week, I would expect the schools of redfish and black drum to get even bigger so book a trip with me to get out and sight fish some of these bruisers!
