Even after our one day of hurricane conditions here on the East Coast the bite continues strong throughout the Mosquito Lagoon. The bait continues to be covering the flats and shorelines making for great cover and opportunities for game fish. Plugs and soft plastics have been working well early morning along with live bait as well. Target the edges of the bait pods whether it’s artificial or live bait and the bites will come. We have been boating all different species like redfish, trout, black drum, jacks and snook just to mention a few. The weather looks to be good for the extended forecast which means the bite should only continue to be good.
