Big schools of black drum were what was on the menu for this past week of fishing with light wind and clear water. The black drum are feeding heavily and just about anything. We even had reports of black drum eating chunk mullet. Offshore, lane snapper, some large mangrove snapper and a few cobia are being caught on the reefs. With spring getting closer, start keeping an eye on the beach looking for manta rays carrying the tasty cobia with them.
