The bite on Stick Marsh was awesome this week. We caught them on Carolina Rigs with a 3/4oz weight and a Bass Assassin RSB worm in Gooseberry and Junebug Red. The hottest Bullshad baits on Stick Marsh was the 9” Bull Glide in Bone and the Prototype bait the Chop Shad. Keep an eye out for this deadly bait!!! When it gets released I’ll do a video on how to fish it and I’ll write a quick report. We didn’t catch any DDs this week but we had a few 7&8lb fish. The shiner bite is like shooting fish in a barrel, literally!!!
Headwaters is fishing tough for most of the artificial anglers. We did catch quite a few yesterday on the 6th Sense Catwalk, Zoom Mag Lizards watermelon candy and Bass Assassin Vapor Shads Houdini. The big fish are eating shiners on HW. Deepwater grass edges and wind blown cuts around the ditches are holding great fish. The Cypress Maze was productive for us but I can’t tell you exactly where we were fishing because that would be to easy and make it crowded LOL.
