Looked like a short window of hope to get offshore Saturday, we left the ramp at 5AM in search of some sunrise wahoo action. The ride out was surprisingly smooth, considering the recent weather. After a couple hours pulling through what looked to be productive waters, and no action, we switched things up and went deep. The Golden Tilefish didn’t disappoint, and after a few drifts we had our limit. Couldn’t resist a quick check at one more spot on the way in, and the Amberjack were glad to see us. We dropped two jigs each drift, and doubled up more than a couple times. Kept the best of the bunch, and set the others free. 2020 gonna be a good year!
