We should have decent weather this week as far as the wind goes. Not many clouds but we do have a nearly full moon this weekend which can certainly make things interesting.

The topwater bite on the flats and along mangroves is still hot. Especially in areas holding large schools of bait. Trout, snook and redfish have been plentiful along with a bunch of jacks and ladyfish thrown in the mix.

What bait/lures have I been using? I’ve been throwing Heddon Spook Jr’s when the conditions are right along with a Mirrorlure Lil John rigged on a jig head.
