Snook have been very active in the shallows around the mangroves over the past few days. I’ve been having success skip casting lures (dark colored 3.5″ paddle tails on 1/8oz jigs as well as 5″ jerk shads rigged weedless on 1/8oz weighted hooks) up underneath mangroves during the late morning and early evening hours.
