The fishing on Tampa Bay has been excellent for the past several weeks and getting better.
The Snook, Redfish and Trout have been near to non-stop action on almost every point in the flats. Live greenbacks are the best bait for them with the possibility of Flounder and Triple tail in the mix.
Mangrove Snapper and sheepshead can be found on deep channel ledges with some snapper in the 20″ range. Gag grouper are still biting well for catch and release until June.
King mackerel are on fire in the bay free lining large greenbacks or trolling rigged ballyhoo works best.
