The seas finally let us get out last Saturday (3/23/2019). The water warm up past 70 degrees and the scattered weeds started to show up past 200 feet. Set a spread and landed a couple mahi on the way to deeper water. Dropped in deeper water for a limit of golden tile. Seas were rough by the afternoon; made for a 2 1/2 hour ride back to the port.
Man that’s some good eats right there!
That’ll make a spring break, for sure. The long trip back to port could have been a heck of a lot worse with an empty cooler!
