This past week has been a much slower catching week for us here at Fineline Fishing Charters. The bite that should’ve been there with the new moon just wasn’t. It seemed as if the fish were feeding much later in the day, almost at evening time in some cases from the few guys that did stay out long enough to get into a little bit of an afternoon flurry. Hopefully this week the fish will turn around and start biting in the morning again. This makes it a lot easier for us to get our clients out without having to dodge the afternoon thunderstorms.
Black drum, redfish, snook, tarpon and jack’s were all caught this week but as I mentioned before in much fewer numbers compared to the week before or compared to the actual number of fish that we were seeing on our fishing charters. I guess that’s why they say it’s fishing and not catching. We’re looking forward to the upcoming week, the northeast winds should really kick the mullet run in the high gear. And the fish should be chewing artificial and live baits most of the day. If you’re interested in getting a charter please go to finelinefishingcharters.com or give us a call at 321-505-8217 and let’s go out to catch your next memory.
