As most everyone knows the north jetty at Sebastian Inlet has been shut down since hurricane Nicole. This makes it way more relaxing to fish for the boat fishermen but sucks for the land anglers. It’s been a little rough with some high winds and big waves this week but the fish have been biting out there. Shrimp has been the bait of choice this week. They haven’t been the biggest fish but it’s been a pretty consistent snook bite when you can find them along with some redfish, black drum, and jacks. Inside has been good too with snook, flounder, jacks, and ladyfish hitting around the T dock and the shorelines. The bull sharks and spinners have been pretty aggressive around the north jetty. Anytime we would get a decent fish on the sharks would rush in before we could get them to the boat. If you want a decent size bull shark just hook up some wire and a pinfish throw it into the current and within no time you’re hooked up for one hell of a battle.
