Mixed bite on hard twitch baits and soft plastics. Fished 7a-noon. Never caught so many huge lady fish. The poor man’s tarpon. Also lots of trout. Several pushing 20”. Best bait today was a Rapala sub-walker. Cast a mile and very easy to stay connected when working the bait at various speeds.

Yeah man, I like the Rapala sub-walker too. They are easy to cast a long way. Sounds like you had a fun day catching them up!
It’s funny, I used to catch lady fish damn near constantly, but don’t see them often in recent years.
