Last week, with hopes for yellowfin tuna, my long time buddy, Ben Bencivenga, headed across the stream to Rosies in Grand Cay, Bahamas, aboard Captain Britts 26′ SeaVee. The seas didn’t play along, so instead they spent a couple days deep dropping when they could get out. The bite was good and they whacked an assortment of fish including 10 Queen Snappers, piles of Strawberry Groupers, a handful of Queen Triggerfish and one really nice Mystic Grouper. While the fishing was good I am sure the party was even better! Grand never disappoints, especially when the wind is blowing. Getting it done Bahamian Island Style!
