Fishing this week has been surprisingly good with all of the wind that we’ve had. The cold temperatures seem to be pushing the fish into the deeper channels and waterways around the Indian River. We’ve been doing really good on shrimp for the black drum and redfish and the Saltwater Assassin paddle-tails have been slaying the trout. The northern minnow and magic grass color lures have been doing the best. Fishing along the mangroves has been really good, too. We’ve been catching consistent black drum, trout and snook on the edges of the river.
