This past week has presented the perfect opportunity to sight fish 40 inch Snook. We have found numerous very large schools of 38 inch plus fish with numbers in the fifties and sixties / school. To catch these fish we’ve been using large baits but small ones will work not as well but in a pinch don’t be afraid to try one. What I like to do is Scout an area just get up on the front of your boat stand on something that elevates you slowly with your trolling motor troll in and out of areas once you find the fish even if they’re spooked give it 5 or 10 minutes and return to that area and they will be there
