Did a spot of fishing this Saturday. I was only able to hook up with one dinky trout and a couple of catfish. However, I saw several larger tarpon blow up the waters around me. Alas, I wasn’t set up for tarpon fishing but I threw the lure at them a couple of times for giggles. Called an early day as the heat started coming in.

Not set up for tarpon fishing — in peak summer? Get with the program, man! Hah, glad you were able to wet a line even though it didn’t produce much.
Ouch fair enough.
You don’t know till you try … ahhh, throw what you have at ’em. I would of done the same.
