First Fluke (Summer Flounder) Trip Of The Year

My son Jason and I made our first party boat trip (better late than never) yesterday. We were not expecting much since the weather & conditions were not the best. Jason was able to put 2 keepers in the box out of the 5 he caught. I had no keepers out of the 4 I caught. Only one other keeper was caught among the other 23 fares.

I’ve been fishing since I was 5. I mainly saltwater fish but have been doing more freshwater lately. I fish the entire coast of New Jersey but make 2-3 trips a year around the country just to fish. I could spend the day fishing for supper bluefish or yellowfin tuna-makes no difference to me as I just enjoy bending the rod.
