We took a few days off and gave the fish a break while the weather was nasty. However, we’re back at it again this week fishing the mullet run along the near coastal waters. Redfish, ladyfish, jack’s and snook are the four most common species that we are catching right now. Rapala X-Rap lipped diving plugs will work for all of them but a lively finger mullet on a knocker rig is a guaranteed hook up. Hopefully this action will continue around the Port Canaveral area and inside of the Banana River and Indian River for the next couple of weeks.
