Fishing has been action packed on the Space Coast of Florida. We have been catching limits of flounder which is such a fun fish to target and an even better fish to eat. Live baiting with finger mullet and mud minnows have been key to my limits. Also, pompano in big schools have shown up and eating every sand flea on every fishing pole out in water!
Snook have been eating jerk baits, plugs, live shrimp and live pinfish. The season officially opened February 1st and I was able to help a client check off a bucket list fish with a beautiful 30” slot snook (keeper) and also 10 other snook on a night trip to Sebastian.
