Been looking for tarpon and snook feeding in the first trough for while now, we’ve got reports of steady catches of croaker whiting and the occasional pompano as the water temps are still down in the nearshore current from the recent upwelling. Pompano, Whiting and Croaker will take fresh or frozen bait such as sand fleas, shrimp and clams. For the snook and tarpon keep your eyes peeled for mullet running the beach usually stacked in close on the outgoing tide. I caught this snook on a 5” No Live Bait Needed swim bait in White/“Hell Yeah Butter”
Tight lines everyone!
Thanks for the report!
