Winds were on fire most of last week making the fishing tough. Had to fish protected shorelines and pick away at a bunch of trout, jacks, ladyfsh and bluefish with some snook and redfish mixed in. It was way too rough to get off the beach. Live shrimp under a DOA popping cork worked well for most species but we also did good with the Rap Twitching mullet and DOA Cal paddletail rigged on a 1/4 oz jighead. The artificial worked better for the snook with a few small reds mixed in. Sue caught her first snook that was 31.5” that she got to bring home for dinner!
