The bite continues to be strong throughout the waters of the Mosquito Lagoon. The weather has been great this past week triggering a chewing mood for our fish. Look for this activity to continue as the extended forecast shows a high pressure sitting over the state into next week. The sight fishing has been good with numbers of black drum and red fish cruising the lagoon’s shallows. The trout and snook have been making an appearance as well in the deeper water looking for a easy meal. Live bait has been the best choice but soft plastics and spoons have been getting the job done for artificial.
