The PENN WRATH II was mainly engineered for saltwater, but personally i find that it is extremely versatile in both freshwater and saltwater. I bought this rod at walmart for 78 $, pretty good price for a PENN, i once bought an ugly stik for 120 $. Not worth it. This rod is fairly cheap for a PENN, very available. I recommend getting it at walmart for the 78 $, Bass pro sells it for more i believe. But overall a beautifully engineered, well rounded saltwater-freshwater rod.
