What a nice week we finally had! Mother nature gave us a few solid days offshore to do what it is we do. And boy oh boy did we get into it. Solid runs to the reef and back for all the amazing king mack maniacs out there. Get your bunker and go to the reef or ridge. The fish are there. Slowly troll your bunker. If you can’t get the live bait then pull the frozen cigar minnows, you can speed the troll a bit if you can’t get them spinning correctly. It doesn’t hurt to use a skirt on the minnow. Mylar skirts work great.
Bottom fish have been doing well, too. Use the bunker or whatever you’d like. Triggers, lanes and a few grovers have been doing just fine. Get out and have fun.
