We had a pretty decent week on the few fishable days. Just goes to show the fish are there when we can get out. If you haven’t looked at the offshore forecast yet — don’t — it’s pretty sad. Maybe at this rate we can start fishing in May. I believe this is the worst year in many years of wind. We didn’t pass the Reef or the Ridge. Plenty of action up to that point. Kings and a few sails this week. Bottom species with lanes and triggers went well.
The only bad fishing this week, and I cant even call it terrible, was the shark fishing. Some trips caught none. Some caught a few small ones and a few caught a giant. 30 feet seemed pretty good depth for them.
Get your repairs done this week and maybe we will see you out there again in a few weeks. Stay Safe
