sebastian snook

Had a good week fishing inshore. Some snook, trout and a bunch of Mackerel, bluefish, snapper and ladyfish with a few pompano thrown in. The heat has helped the bite but we need some rain to get the bait pods moving around. Dirty water from with wind and swells off the beach had made the water around the inlet silty and dirty but once we get away from the inlet the water has been very clean and clear. Soft plastics have accounted for a lot of the fish this week as well as shrimp and pilchards. Looking forward to the spring winds subsiding and some rain to push more bait out of the creeks and the nearshore bite to heat up as well.
