We have definitely entered our early summer time pattern here in the backwaters of the Mosquito Lagoon. Look for the bait to be plentiful throughout the flats and the fish not too far. Working plugs and spoons early in the morning has been creating and steady bite then moving to soft plastics later in the day. Live finger mullet and cut bait have also been working well on both the redfish and trout with a little patience. The weather looks to be very stable for the upcoming week which should just secure the bite.
